STILL MORE HAPPY TAILS

Iris, Mom And Dad
This adorable dog spent the first year of her life in a cage in a pet store.  A wonderful lady named Iris couldn't stand to see her locked up anymore so she "sprung her" and turned her over to rescue.  We named her Baby Iris because her life outside the cage was like a rebirth and Iris was the one who gave her the new life.  We enjoyed having Baby Iris here with us for 3 weeks watching her learning things she'd never done before--like walking, running and playing with other doxies and toys. Baby Iris is now in her forever home where she sleeps in bed with mom and dad who love her and spoil her.

Sammy And His Brother
Sammy, formally Buddy, is a puppy mill dog with lots of issues. His first home, although loving, was not the right home for him. He has separation anxiety and is an escape artist. He is now in a home with a family who is home with him all the time and in a yard he can't escape. Hopefully, with lots of love this very young guy will outgrow his issues.

Jackson I received a phone call from a couple 6 hours away asking me if I would take their Dachshund. Jackson was an 11 month old dapple boy. Luckily, I had friends and connections in Jackson's area and a rescue helper agreed to foster Jackson until I could find him a home. After 3 weeks in foster care, his foster family was in love but Jackson was about to go to his new home. The foster home drove 4 hours south with Jackson, I drove 2 hours north to pick him up and back home. At the same time, the new family was driving from Las Vegas to meet Jackson. Jackson is in a wonderful loving home with a female doxie buddy. He goes camping & boating and has his own life jacket. Jackson mom helped with an emergency transport on a moment's notice when I needed her. Jackson has a great life.

A southern Ca rescue had Beau and Penny and a wonderful woman in northern CA was looking for a doxie companion. A transport was arranged and the dogs went up north. The new home got twice what she bargained for and it was love at first sight. These two senior doxies found a wonderful home. We love it when seniors help seniors. Beau And Penny With New Mom
