This event will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009, from 11:AM until 5:PM at INDIAN VILLAGE PARK located in WESTMINSTER , CA .  Bring your dachsies, kids, chairs, and blankets!  There are lots of trees for shade and a playground for the kids.  Please note:  All dachsies and other pets must be on a leash at all times.
There will be a Costume Contest, Dachshund Races, Bobbing for Wieners Contests, Dachshund collectibles and accessories, as well as a raffle to benefit Southern California Dachshund Rescue. We would welcome your raffle prize donations by October 1^st.
We will again be offering hot-dogs, chili, chips, and sodas for a small donation. 
There will also be a bake sale of homemade cakes to delight your sweet tooth.
So bring your appetite.

Vendors will NOT need to get a temporary city business license for this event.
We have taken care of everything in advance.
There are also 3 pet-friendly motels located near the park.
