This is Tipsy Her family had to give her up due to military orders. She is the complete package. She is an 8 month old red smooth female. She's spayed, up to date on shots, micro chipped, good with kids and housebroken. What more could anyone ask for in a doxie? Her name is Tipsy from the little white tips on the end of her tail and her feet. Tipsy is very friendly and affectionate, gets along with other dogs but has not been tested with cats. She is a tad overweight for such a youngster but can easily lose weight with some exercise.
An approved application is required for Tipsy's adoption. Her adoption fee $300.

An approved application is required for their adoption. The adoption fee for the pair is $200. For more information on these beautiful boys, e-mail me or contact me at 661 943-4888 .

This is wonderful Kharmen-Ghia. She is a 6 year-old, blue-eyed, double-dapple Dachshund. She was originally turned into rescue because her previous owners were unwilling to care for her. After being in rescue for a short time, it was determined that Kharmen has a condition called E.P.I. in which her pancreas does not secrete the enzymes necessary to digest food. This condition is easily managed by a sprinkle of prescription enzymes on her food or treats.
Kharmen is now ready to find a wonderful and permanent forever family.
Kharmen is house trained, mellow, loving, well-behaved and an all-around GREAT dog. She sleeps in her crate at night without complaint but would love to snuggle under your covers with you. She gets along with the doxies in her foster home and does not seem to be interested in cats. She loves people, including children and bonds very quickly to whomever she's with. She loves squeaky toys and balls but is not possesive of them. She's well behaved on the leash and in the car.
Kharmen is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Kharmen would love to find a home with a retired person or someone who works from home or, at the very least, a home with another Doxie companion to keep her company.
An approved application is required for Kharmen's adoption.

If you prefer the true standard German doxies, Dewey (formerly known as Doobie) is the one for you! This big beautiful boy is almost 9 months old and weighs 24lbs. He is a sweet loveable puppy who is completely housebroken. He is very playful and loves toys. He rides well in a car and sleeps all night in his crate as long as he knows you are close by.
Dewey would be great with another medium size playful dog. He loves to play but is a little overwhelming for the little doxies. Dewey is up to date on shots, neutered and microchipped.
An approved application is required for Dewey's adoption. His adoption fee is $250. For more information regarding Dewey, feel free to call me at 661 943-4888 or e-mail me.

ADOPTED!!
This is Mandy, a mini red smooth doxie. I don't know what kind of story Mandy would tell if she could talk but somehow she ended up in the local shelter needing a new home. When she arrived at the shelter, she was not spayed, her nails were very long and her teeth were in need of cleaning. So obviously her previous owners didn't take very good care of her. Mandy is a true mini weighing about 9lbs. She is currently underweight after not being fed prior to her spay surgery and not wanting to eat from a sore throat from her surgery. But she will fill out once she is in the mood to start eating regularly.
Mandy seems very shy and scared but hopefully will come out of it once she realizes there's nothing to be afraid of and life has taken a turn for the better for her.
Mandy is 2 years old, micro chipped, up to date on shots and can't have any more babies. It seems she may have been bred in the past. Due to her small size, she'd make a great travel companion. Mandy rides well in the car when crated.
An approved application is required for Mandy's adoption. A home with teenagers or all adults would be best for her. She is too nervous and shy to be around very young children. Mandy's adoption fee is $225.

ADOPTED!!
This handsome man is Ledger. He was brought to the shelter with a broken leg. After several days, the shelter rewrapped his broken leg but wrapped it incorrectly without any padding. By the time he was rescued from the shelter and taken to my vet, his leg was badly infected from an incorrect leg wrap. We all tried hard to save his leg but the infection was too much for him to handle, and the vet felt the best thing was to take his leg and save his life. He is all healed now and ready and waiting for a new home.
Ledger is about 3 years old, he's neutered, micro chipped, enjoys walking on a leash and running wherever he can. He gets along with other dogs as long as there are no toys, bones or food to fight over. He might be best with a female although his current buddy is a male. Ledger has had his teeth cleaned, is up to date on his shots and has no other issues other than he's missing a leg. Ledger would be best in a home with no stairs.
If you would like to give Ledger a new start in life, please complete the application on this website. Ledger's adoption fee is $175.

ADOPTED!!
This handsome dude is Shorty. This poor guy is in need of a new home because his owner passed away at a very young age. He was with her since he was a puppy so has only known one home. Shorty is currently living with his owner's mother who already has too many dogs to keep one more. So she has asked me to help find Shorty a new home as hard as it is for her to part with the only thing she has left of her daughter.
Shorty is a 4 1/2 year old red smooth male who has been recently neutered. He is up to date on all his shots. Shorty is not good with young children and has not been tested with cats. He gets along with other dogs and is a bit nervous when you first meet him so won't run up to you and jump in your lap. But once he gets to know you, he is a real love. He would be best in a doxie experienced home, one that understands how doxies can be until they get to know and trust you.
The other little guy is Shorty's buddy. He's a funny looking little guy but very friendly and just loves everybody. They have been together for years and it would be wonderful if someone would take them both so they don't have to be separated, but it's not required.
However, an approved application is required for Shorty's adoption. For more information on Shorty, please call 661- 943-4888 or 760-559-5973. The adoption fee for Shorty is $100 and $150 for both dogs.
